Hello, Thanks for the query.
I have gone through the details given, and understand your concern.
Based on your description the "stomach pain" appears to associated with
acid peptic disease. If earlier Ranitidine has been helpful, does point to that origin. However, if you have been taking IBUPROFEN for reducing this pain, then it is unlikely to go. In fact it will be aggravated as ibuprofen being a NSAID, will remove all the protection to stomach mucosa and expose it excess acid attack. So please avoid taking that compound.
I have following suggestions : You may try drugs like
RABEPRAZOLE 20 or 40 mg tablet early morning on empty stomach for about 10 to 15 days. Plus a bland diet, avoid hot beverages, alcohol and smoking. You may also take certain anti-spasmodics along with above mentioned drug.
If still pain persists then further investigations may be needed to rule out presence of
peptic ulcer, like an endoscopic examination. Then treatment can be devised. There is also a possibility of H.pylori infection along with acid peptic disease. That may be treated with a combination of three drugs like TINIDAZOLE,
AMOXYCILLIN &
OMEPRAZOLE for one week (H P KIT). Thanks.
